Due to rain, the warm-up match between England and India for the World Cup was called off
Rain caused the Saturday warm-up cricket match between the cricket teams of India and England in Guwahati to be called off. Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, chose to bat first when deciding to bowl against the reigning champion England. But all the spectators saw was how the rain ruined the game. Angry at the ICC for scheduling the World Cup during this time of year, several of the fans predicted that the rain will continue to dampen the fans’ spirits throughout the event.
