In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 game on Wednesday against Lucknow Super Giants, Moeen Ali took a wonderful catch to get rid of Karan Sharma, shocking everyone—including Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni. In an effort to release his arms, Karan attempted to slam the delivery squarely over Moeen’s head because he did not appear to be at ease while he was in the crease. Even though the ball was moving so quickly, the bowler had incredible reflexes to catch it. After his catch, the crowd exploded, and even Dhoni was unable to convey his awe at the achievement.
