The fan expressed his want to see Mohammad Rizwan and MS Dhoni play for Chennai Super Kings, Shaheen Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah at Mumbai Indians, and Babar Azam and Virat Kohli for RCB in a tweet.

Pakistani fans are dreaming of witnessing their best players, like Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Babar Azam, play in the Indian T20 competition since the Indian Premier competition is just a few days away from starting. Notwithstanding the restriction on Pakistani cricket players from the IPL, some supporters still hold out hope that the directive may one day be changed to permit players from across the border to compete in the IPL. But on Friday, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh dashed one fan’s hopes in this way.In a tweet, the fan expressed his desire to see Babar Azam and Virat Kohli play for RCB, Shaheen Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah for Mumbai Indians, and Mohammad Rizwan and MS Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings.

“Dream for many Indian and Pakistani cricket fans…. #PSL2024 #IPL2024 #INDvENG #ViratKohli #BabarAzamZ @avinasharyan09 @harbhajan_singh @mufaddal_vohra,” the tweet from the fan read.

In response, Harbhajan Singh wrote: “No Indian has such dreams… you guys, stop dreaming and wake up now.”

In preparation for the new season, Royal Challengers Bangalore began their pre-tournament camp without their captain, Virat Kohli, who may need a few more days to arrive before the club begins its IPL campaign against reigning champions Chennai Super Kings on March 22.

The majority of domestic players attended the camp, which was led by new head coach Andy Flower and Director of Cricket Mo Bobat, and they went through the paces on the first day on Wednesday.

Even though West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph and captain Faf du Plessis were present, Indian cricket’s largest “Box Office,” Virat Kohli, has not yet reached his peak following a paternity leave that prevented him from playing in the highly anticipated five-Test series against England.

“Kohli is anticipated to join within the next few days,” an IPL team-tracking BCCI source informed PTI.

It is possible that Kohli may make his debut for the team during “RCB Unbox,” a popular yearly event hosted at Garden City where fans can catch a glimpse of their favorite players.
