Veteran wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik posted a heartwarming message to social media on Monday after being named to the India team for the T20 World Cup in Australia.
Karthik has been serving as the finisher for RCB and the national squad after his outstanding performance in the IPL 2022 gave India another comeback. The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Monday included the seasoned cricketer in India’s 15-person team for the upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup due to his strong strike rate and finishing skills.
Karthik tweeted “Dreams do come true” in response to the team announcement, expressing his joy.
