The most recent people to receive invitations to the January 22 Ram Temple dedication ceremony in Ayodhya are Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.

An invitation to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 has been extended to the most recent member of the Indian cricket squad, Virat Kohli. Prior to this, players who received invitations for the important occasion included MS Dhoni, Venkatesh Prasad, and Sachin Tendulkar. The famous Bollywood actress Anuskha Sharma, who is married to Kohli, received an invitation to the ceremonial opening of the temple in Uttar Pradesh. As per the media sources, Kohli was traveling with the Indian cricket team for the current Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan. However, before heading to Bengaluru for the third match, the star batsman returned to his Mumbai residence to personally accept the invitation.

In the meantime, with the series already won, India will be keen to improve as a unit and hope that captain Rohit Sharma’s bat finally clicks when they play Afghanistan in the third and final rubber on Wednesday.

The management of the squad would like that there be no let-up in the energy shown during the triumphs in Mohali and Indore considering this is India’s last Twenty20 match before the World Cup in June.

India’s relentless approach from ball one, which saw them chase down 159 in 17.3 overs and 173 in 15.4 overs, respectively, was the hallmark of their identical six-wicket victories.

It was obviously different from their previous strategy of gathering steam for a thrilling finish in the Twenty20s. Nobody demonstrated this intention more clearly than Virat Kohli and Shivam Dube.

In his first T20I match for India in 14 months at Indore, Kohli hammered a strike rate of 181 off of 16 balls.
His modest but meaningful innings was most notable for the way he handled Afghan spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, hitting him for 18 runs off seven balls at a strike rate of 257.
Although Kohli has never been the fastest when it comes to countering spin, he was unafraid to provide his insights to a revised strategy this time around.
