While intense competition is the main focus of professional sports, occasionally there are moments that make everyone giggle.
There are moments when watching cricket that are truly humorous. Professional sports are all about intense competition, but occasionally there are instances that make people laugh out loud. Aakash Chopra, a former star of the Indian cricket team, revealed the same thing in a video. A wicketkeeper can be seen attempting a run out at the non-striker’s ends in the video. As the opposing hitter attempts to sneak a single, the wicketkeeper takes up the ball. But the wicketkeeper’s throw hits the pitcher for his own team.
“Single hai nahi, kaha bhaag rahe ho bhaisaab, dekho zara. Humein to apno ne loota, gairon mein kaha dum tha mere yaar (there is now single, where are you running. We have been looted by our won, what can strangers do),”Aakash Chopra, a well-known analyst, can be hear speaking in the video.
Former India opener Aakash Chopra, a veteran of ten Test matches, has expressed surprise that the leg spinner has been removed from the BCCI’s core contracts. He noted that Chahal’s dismissal indicates that the selection committee is considering other candidates.
“I am astonished Yuzi Chahal’s name is not listed. I understand why Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shikhar Dhawan’s names are not mentioned.Deepak Hooda as well, actually. However, what does it mean if Chahal’s name is missing? It appears to be pointing in a different path for them (BCCI). This lends support to the theory. There was a glimmer of hope for him, but it was not to be. On his YouTube channel, Chopra stated, “His name is not there.”
As the BCCI revealed its centrally-contracted players for this year, captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli predictably retained their spot in the top bracket, but out-of-favour duo Kishan and Iyer were disqualified for refusing to play Ranji Trophy.
Kishan, 25, left the South Africa trip in December, citing personal reasons, therefore he was not on national service. Nevertheless, he did not play for Jharkhand throughout the team’s Ranji Trophy campaign. On the IPL, which is scheduled for next month, he has instead concentrated on his preparations.
However, after being left out of the Indian team following the second Test match against England, Iyer did not make himself available for Mumbai’s Ranji quarterfinal matchup against Baroda. Still, he was selected for the Ranji semifinals.
