The top seven seeds among the top ten, including Sabalenka, Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, and Qinwen Zheng, received first-round byes and will begin their championship campaign in the second round.Swiatek will enter the Qatar Open as the overwhelming favorite after losing to Madison Keys in the Australian Open semifinals. After winning the title in 2022, 2023, and 2024, the 23-year-old Pole will be vying for her fourth consecutive trophy.With three Grand Slam victories under her belt, Sabalenka defeated Peta Kvitova to win the championship in 2020 and would be vying for it against Swiatek. The winner will receive 1000 ranking points and $597,000 in prize money.
