Prime Minister Modi has now received a special gift with a Messi connection. On the sidelines of the India Energy Week on Monday, Pablo Gonzalez, President of Argentina’s state-owned energy company YPF, presented PM Modi with a Messi T-shirt.
Messi recently confirmed in an interview with Dario Ole that he intends to live in Barcelona after his playing days are over. “When my career is over, I will return to live in Barcelona because it is my home,” Messi said in the interview.
Argentina defeated France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 final, and Messi was awarded the “most prestigious trophy” of all. When asked about the items he kept from the final, Messi said he kept ‘everything’.
“I kept everything from the final: the boots, the t-shirts… Everything is on AFA property, and I’m going to take everything to Barcelona in March, where I have my things and my memories.”
