Indian shooters earned two medals, taking home gold and silver in the men’s and women’s trap competitions, following Aditi Ashok’s historic silver in the women’s golf competition.
Following Aditi Ashok’s historic silver in the women’s golf competition, Indian shooters took home two medals by winning the gold and silver in the men’s and women’s trap competitions. Aditi is the first female Indian to take home a medal from the Asian Games. Star athletes for India will include athletes Jyothi Yarraji, Avinash Sable, and boxer Nikhat Zareen as top medal contenders. While Jyothi and Avinash will want to place first in their respective divisions, Nikhat, who is already guaranteed a bronze medal, will try to improve the colour of her medal on Sunday. Indian shooters will also receive attention.
