The newcomers in Ultimate Table Tennis 2024 won their first match thanks to the leadership of Manush Shah, captain of the Ahmedabad SG Pipers.
Under the captaincy of Manush Shah, the Ahmedabad SG Pipers, the inaugural Ultimate Table Tennis 2024 team, won their first game. At Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, the Ahmedabad team upset the reigning champions, the Athlead Goa Challengers. After teaming up with Bernadette Szocs to achieve the same outcome in the mixed doubles, Shah upset two-time Olympian Mihai Bobocica 2-1 in their match. The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), led by Vita Dani and Niraj Bajaj, is the organization in charge of overseeing the franchise-based tournament.
