After smashing a century for Punjab Kings, Priyansh Arya declared his arrival in the competition.
With a century for Punjab Kings (PBKS) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Priyansh Arya made his tournament debut in just his fourth Indian Premier League (IPL) innings. Before the match against CSK, the 24-year-old achieved scores of 7 and 0, but he made an impressive start with a fast 47. The Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy, which produced India head coach Gautam Gambhir, Nitish Rana, and Amit Mishra, was Priyansh’s childhood coach. He spoke to The Hindustan Times about how he was able to get the southpaw into the Delhi U19 selection trials.”The U19 selection procedure did not include him. A former player from India was organizing a competition. Gurusharan Singh was the person who chose the U19 team. I was certain that Priyansh would win Player of the Series, therefore I wanted him to compete in the event. “I thought I would ask Gurusharan to give him a chance for a trial if he turns out to be performing well,” Bharadwaj added.
“Everything occurred by the grace of God. The trial match was given by Priyansh Arya. The tournament was won by us. The Player of the Series award went to him. He added, “Ajay Jadeja gave him a bat.
