Chetan Sharma has been slammed for his comments on a TV sting operation, and the BCCI is considering taking action against him.

Indian cricket is once again in disarray. Chetan Sharma, the chairman of the selection committee, has been forced to resign following a TV Sting operation in which he spilled the beans on Indian Cricket’s dirty secrets. With that, the selection committee meeting for the final two Border Gavaskar Trophy Tests and the ODI series has concluded. Previously reported that senior players, including ODI captain and vice-captain Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma, were enraged with the chief selector after the Chetan Sharma Sting Operation.

The selection committee was supposed to meet with head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma to choose teams for the final two Tests and three-match ODI series. However, Sharma is unlikely to be allowed to attend the meeting until the internal investigation is completed. Shiv Sundar Das will serve as interim chairman if Chetan Sharma is denied permission to attend meetings.
