With the victory, both DC and LSG are still in the running for the playoffs. Ishant Sharma took three wickets for LSG as they collapsed at 189/9 in 20 overs while chasing 209. Nicholas Pooran, for LSG, led the way in scoring with 61 off of 27 balls.
Arshad Khan also scored an undefeated fifty, hitting 58* off 33 deliveries. Initially, the Delhi Capitals scored 208/4 in 20 overs. Despite a duck by Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel (58) and Tristan Stubbs (57*) scored half-centuries as DC set a goal of 209 runs. Meanwhile, Naveen-ul-Haq scored twice for LSG.
