The victory also saw DC defeat CSK in Chennai for the first time since 2010. KL Rahul anchored DC to a score of 183 for 6 in 20 overs after batting first. Rahul scored 77 runs from 51 balls, including three sixes and six fours. DC lost Jake Fraser-McGurk in the opening over, but Rahul and Abhishek Porel (33/20) helped the team recover.While DC’s wickets continued to fall at regular intervals, Rahul held one end tight and ensured the team scored a decent total. Khaleel Ahmed was CSK’s best bowler, taking 2 for 25 in four overs. In the chase, CSK trailed from the outset and finished at 158 for 5, despite MS Dhoni remaining unbeaten at the crease on 30 off 26 balls.
