Suresh Raina, a former player, joined CSK during their lap of honour in Chepauk. And MS Dhoni’s action was just a wonderful and kind gesture.

After their Sunday IPL 2024 match against the Rajasthan Royals, the Chennai Super Kings made a lap of honor around MA Chidambaram Stadium. The fans had a poignant occasion as CSK played their final league game of the season at the location. With one game left in the league round, the team will travel to M Chinnaswamy Stadium to play Royal Challengers Bengaluru. When MS Dhoni and his teammates used tennis racquets to hand signed balls to the audience on Sunday, a sizable gathering of supporters showed up.

Dhoni handed the tennis racquet to Raina and asked him to do the service of sending the signed balls into the crowd. Notably, Raina is one of the commentators during IPL 2024 and was present at the venue for the same task.
In the heartwarming moment, Dhoni’s close buddy and former CSK star Suresh Raina joined the team for the lap of honour. Dhoni’s action was merely a thoughtful and pleasant gesture.

Dhoni gave Raina the tennis racquet and requested him to serve as the person who throws the autographed balls into the crowd. Remarkably, Raina was in the location for the same assignment and will be a commentator in the 2024 Indian Premier League.

With captain Ruturaj Gaikwad laying the groundwork and scoring a solid undefeated 42, CSK overcame RR in 18.2 overs while chasing a modest 142.
