While Head scored 68 off 49 balls, Stoinis scored 59 off 29 balls. Mark Watt and Safyaan Sharif both claimed two wickets for Scotland. Due to a superior net run-rate, England, the reigning champions, advanced to the Super 8s after Scotland was eliminated from the competition.
