due to some personal reasons
Leg spinner Rehan Ahmed of England will not be playing in India; he has personal reasons to return home. For the last match, England has chosen not to select a substitute for him.
The 19-year-old has played in all three of the Test matches so far, taking 11 wickets, which is second-best for England this trip behind only Tom Hartley. He took six wickets in Vizag to add to his total. However, for the vital fourth Test in Ranchi, England chose to recall finger spinner Shoaib Bashir.
On the eve of the Ranchi Test, Ahmed was in training, but he had to decide to return home. In order to salvage the series and go to the last match in Dharamsala, which is scheduled to start on March 7, England must win the game in Ranchi.
