In Friday, March 28’s match against the Chennai Super Kings, RCB captain Patidar scored 51. Patidar’s half-century puts him on the same select list as Virat Kohli, who reached the milestone in 2013. With an incredible century against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 2022 IPL eliminator, Patidar became the first player without a cap to score a century in an IPL playoff, catapulting the right-hander into celebrity.Patidar made a spectacular return in the 2024 Indian Premier League, despite missing the 2023 season due to a string of ailments.
