The BCCI has revealed a substantial prize for Rohit Sharma and his team in recognition of their unbeatable Champions Trophy performance in Dubai.
The BCCI said in a statement on Thursday that the Indian cricket team would receive a financial prize of Rs 58 crore for winning the Champions Trophy 2025. India won every match in the prestigious tournament under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, earning the title for the third time in their history.
India won four games on their way to the final, proving to be the most dominant team in the ICC event. India advanced to the final after defeating Pakistan by six wickets after beginning their Group A campaign with a commanding six-wicket victory against Bangladesh.They advanced to play former winners Australia after winning their group and defeating New Zealand by 44 runs.
India defeated Australia by four wickets in the last-four match before facing New Zealand in the championship match.
