Under the Sports Ministry’s “assistance to NSF scheme,” six wrestlers headed to the Asian Games have left for Romania along with three support personnel.
In accordance with the Sports Ministry’s “assistance to NSF scheme,” three support staff members and six wrestlers headed for the Asian Games have left for Romania in order to participate in a unique training camp/competition. In addition, from August 18 to August 20, the squad will take part in an event hosted by Ion Cornianu and Ladislau Simon. According to the press release, the overseas trip will last 15 days and be fully funded to pay for the team’s out-of-pocket expenses, including training, hotel, travel, and visa fees.
From September 23 to October 8, the Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, China.
Greco-Roman competitors for the Romania tour include: 1) Gyanendar, 60 kilogrammes 2) -67kg Neeraj 3) Khelo India Athlete Vikas (77 kg) 4) TOPS athlete Sunil Kumar, 87 kg 5) Khelo India athlete Narinder Cheema, 97 kg Naveen, 130 kg.
