This is the second consecutive time that team India has reached the final of the World Test Championship and also the second time that the finals are going to be held in England.

Former captain of the New Zealand cricket team, Ross Taylor, feels that the bowling attack of the Indian cricket team, led by Mohammed Shami, has considerable depth despite Jasprit Bumrah’s unavailability. This will cause problems for the Australians in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship. He expected the Indian bowlers to relish the English conditions and the opportunity to bowl with the duke’s ball.
Taylor told the ICC website, “It’s very tough to replace someone like Bumrah.” He has been fantastic in all three formats and is the leader of their bowling attack. But I think there is still enough depth in this Indian lineup to trouble the Australian side. “Shami and Co. are fantastic in these conditions.”
He also said that bowlers like Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav are quite good at using Duke’s ball.
As he added, “When you consider the India attack, Siraj and Co are very good with the Dukes ball.” Umesh Yadav also bowls 140 or more. They will relish the opportunity to bowl with the Duke’s ball in English conditions.
Ross said that in England, the weather and playing conditions have a lot of bearing on matches and that the Australian seamers are fine exponents of bowling with the duke’s ball. However, he did not rule out the Indians, who have had considerable success in those conditions in the recent past.
