“Former CSK Star Says MS Dhoni Made Mistakes, But Rohit Sharma Never Has.”

Parthiv contrasted Rohit’s leadership style with that of CSK captain MS Dhoni, stating that while the Chennai captain made a few mistakes throughout his lengthy IPL career, the Mumbai player never “made a blunder”.

Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah received Rohit Sharma’s whole support while they were having trouble in the early going of their IPL careers with the Mumbai Indians, according to former cricketer Parthiv Patel on Tuesday. When comparing Rohit’s leadership to that of CSK captain MS Dhoni, Parthiv noted that Dhoni never “made a blunder” but the Mumbai player had made a few mistakes during his lengthy IPL career.

It’s crucial, in my opinion, that Rohiti provides his players with support. Jay Pandya and Hardik Pandya are the best instances of this. By 2015, Bumrah’s performance wasn’t so fantastic when he joined the MI set up, Parthiv said on Tuesday to Jio Cinema.

At one point during the season, they even considered sending him back. “However, since 2016, Rohit Sharma has performed exceptionally well, demonstrating his belief in his abilities,” the 25-time Test player for India continued.

After joining the MI squad in 2014, Bumrah has developed into the nation’s preferred pacer in all three formats and was essential to Mumbai’s IPL triumph.

Following his inclusion in the five-time champions in 2015, Pandya led the Gujarat Titans to the IPL championship in 2022 and is currently back as MI’s captain, taking Rohit’s place.

“Hardik Pandya is the same. He arrived and gained popularity in 2015. Despite having a poor season in 2016, Pandya persevered with MI and developed into the player he is now.” He went on to say that Rohit has an unrivaled sense of composure.

“MI’s two IPL victories, each by a margin of just one run, are the finest example. That wouldn’t have been feasible without a captain who can maintain composure on the ground.

“Erroneous choices or mistakes are occasionally made during a heated contest. However, the distinguishing feature of Rohit Sharma’s leadership during the past ten years is the lack of memory of any errors he committed.

“You’ll never see a mistake if you watch Rohit; even Dhoni has made mistakes like giving Pawan Negi an over. Parthiv continued, “Dhoni suggests keeping things simple, yet we see Rohit do that in games.

One of the hardest things for an IPL captain to do is make decisions based on the situation, according to former India bowler Zaheer Khan.

“You can make advance plans for a game, but you never know what will happen during play. Most of the time, Rohit’s actions and decisions deviate from the pre-game plans. He operates in accordance with the circumstances.

That’s probably his strongest suit. Making split second judgments in the IPL is one of a captain’s toughest tasks, and he performed admirably for MI,” he continued.
