Four Indian players named in ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup

In 2025, the Women’s U19 T20 World Cup team has been announced by the ICC.

The tournament team includes two players from runners-up South Africa and four members of the India squad who won the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup.

With the greatest score and the most runs, Gongadi Trisha leads the order, while teammate G Kamalini is also praised for her batting.

The remaining batters include Jemma Botha of South Africa, Davina Perrin of England, and Caoimhe Bray of Australia, who all amassed over 100 runs during the competition.Aayushi Shukla, a teammate, and Chamodi Praboda of Sri Lanka support India’s spinner Vaishnavi Sharma, who leads the bowling attack with 17 wickets.

Nepal’s Puja Mahato, who scored all 70 runs in a single innings and claimed nine wickets, is named the all-rounder. South Africa’s Kayla Reyneke is named captain, and England’s Katie Jones, who has a remarkable nine dismissals behind the wickets, is handed the gloves.

The Proteas also benefit from seamer Nthabiseng Nini, who was picked as the 12th player after taking six wickets during the tournament.
