Glenn Maxwell believes that his injury will haunt him for the rest of his life.
Andrew McDonald, Australia’s coach, has spoken out about Glenn Maxwell’s current condition. He stated that if the all-rounder can recover in time, he will be considered for the upcoming ODI series against India. Due to a leg injury, Maxwell did not compete in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, he is recovering well from his injury and appears to be on his way back to the field.
McDonald believes that the Test series against India will put a lot of pressure on Maxwell, but that the all-rounder will be able to play the ODIs against India, which will take place from March 17 to 22.
If he (Maxwell) completes everything he needs to, he will be a starter for that one-day series (against India that follows the Tests). “Anything after that will be discussed,” the coach says.
