Rishabh Pant-led LSG defeated Hardik Pandya-led MI by 12 runs in a nail-biter.
Mumbai Indians (MI) lost a close match to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 12 runs after MI was unable to chase down a target of 204. Even with a half-century from Suryakumar Yadav and contributions from Hardik Pandya with both bat and ball (5/36 and 28 off 16), MI was unable to win. LSG secured their second win of the season with fifties from Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram, despite Rishabh Pant, the Rs 27 crore skipper, not performing well at bat.
