Leading India midfielder Hardik Singh was named the UP Rudras’ captain for the forthcoming Hockey India League (HIL) season on Sunday. In addition to rising phenom Priyobarta Talem and Gurjot Singh, the Lucknow franchise, which is owned by Yadu Sports, has a formidable team that includes some of the biggest names in Indian and international hockey, such as Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Simranjeet Singh, Lars Balk, and Kane Russell.
