The 50-player shortlist for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) Team of the Decade was announced on Thursday, and Harmnapreet Kaur is the only Indian player on it. This season, the Big Bash will select an official Team of the Decade to honor the best players from the WBBL’s ten-year existence. To date, the right-handed Indian batter has participated in 62 WBBL games for the Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder. She scored seven half-centuries and 1440 runs at an average of 37.89.Players who have participated in at least 60 WBBL games before to the current season are included in the list. To take on the challenging challenge of reducing the number of openings to just 12, the Big Bash has appointed a panel of specialists.

The panel, which is led by Clea Smith, director of Cricket Australia, is composed of Alistair Dobson, Laura Jolly, Matthew Mott, Quentin Hull, Lisa Sthalekar, and Mel Jones.
In addition, fans will be able to choose their Team of the Decade, with panel recommendations receiving the same weight as public voting.
