Harry Kane Continues His Stroking Spree As Bayern Munich Easily Beats Cologne

Bayern needed only Harry Kane’s most recent goal to defeat struggling Cologne as they dominated the second half of their match.

Harry Kane, an England striker, scored the game-winning goal in Bayern Munich’s 1-0 victory over Cologne on Friday, continuing his incredible Bundesliga record. With a first-half tap-in goal from Kane, Bayern won their tenth game of the season and moved up to the top of the standings. “It was one of the easier goals I’ve scored in my career, but I’ll take it,” Kane said to Dazn following the conclusion of play. Since joining Bayern in August, the England captain has scored 22 goals across all competitions, and he has scored in his last seven games overall.

Bayern’s most recent goal was all they needed as they easily defeated Cologne in the second half with a disciplined effort.

“Some people might look at the result and think they expected a bit more, but it was a really good performance from us today,” Kane remarked.

“We definitely should have scored a couple more goals in the first half since we had excellent game management.

With their customary exuberance, Cologne pressed hard and occasionally succeeded in unsettling Bayern as they approached the game.

But Bayern consistently destroyed their opponents on the counterattack, and by the halfway point, they might have been up by multiple goals.

Prior to Kane breaking the tie after 20 minutes, Leroy Sane squandered two excellent opportunities.

In the second half, Cologne heroically held off Bayern, who were consistently unable to take the game to the next level.

Chabot stopped Sane’s next shot, and Coman then threw a header against the crossbar.

Bayern moved up to the top of the standings with their close victory against Bayer Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso’s team can take the top spot back when they play Werder Bremen on Saturday.
