Messi, who is currently playing club football for Paris Saint-Germain, has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Barcelona. While it is unclear whether the Argentine will ever play for the Catalans again, he will undoubtedly live in Barcelona once he announces his retirement.
Messi has stated that he intends to stay in Barcelona after his playing career is over.
“When my career is over, I will return to live in Barcelona because it is my home,” Messi said in the interview.
