The franchise issued an official statement on the subject. However, no word on whether Rovman Powell will be available for the rest of the season. The Capitals are currently in a must-win situation in order to make the playoffs.

Yusuf Pathan, who was named captain, will now be responsible for inspiring the team to a massive victory in order to surpass Sharjah Warriors’ NRR. However, this will not suffice to qualify them. Dubai will also have to hope that the Gulf Giants defeat Sharjah Warriors in the season’s final league stage game.
