It’s a novel and fascinating experience. I have never participated in an auction before. “I am excited about it,” he stated in a Delhi Capitals video.
I’m performing a lot better than I was a few months ago. I’m still recovering to 100 percent, but I’ll be able to do it in a few months,” he continued.
Pant continued, “It has been really amazing because whenever we keep playing cricket we feel no one loves us because there is so much pressure.” When questioned about his recuperation, Pant added. Yes, it was a difficult period, but at least I learned that I am loved, respected, and that others care about me in a sweet and quirky way. It is incredibly meaningful and has much aided in healing.”
After making his IPL debut in 2016, Pant played in 98 games for his teams, amassing 2838 runs with a strike rate of 147.97.
Pant has been out of the cricket game for a few months as he recovers from serious injuries he received in an automobile accident.
The Indian batsman-wicketer has shown incredible perseverance and resolve in his recovery.
His social media followers have been tracking his progress toward complete fitness, and he has also been providing updates.
Pant suffered severe injuries but lived through a terrifying vehicle crash on the Delhi-Dehradun route.
He was transported to Mumbai for more advanced and specialized care after undergoing initial treatment in Dehradun.
Pant was not present for the final of the World Test Championship (WTC), the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, or the ODI World Cup 2023.
It is hoped that he will soon regain his full health, though, and that he might even make the Indian side for the ICC T20 World Cup the following year.
The first-ever international auction will take place on Tuesday at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
