In what could be a major boost for Indian cricket fans, former Indian wicket-keeper and commentator Dinesh Karthik has expressed his confidence that fast bowler Mohammed Siraj will be a key part of India’s squad for the 2023 World Cup.
Karthik, who played 26 Tests and 94 ODIs for India, spoke highly of Siraj’s recent performances and said that the young pacer has the potential to become one of the best fast bowlers in the world.
“I’m very sure that he (Siraj) would be part of the 2023 World Cup squad. He has impressed everyone with his performances in the last few months and has shown that he has the skills to succeed at the highest level,” Karthik said in an interview.
