The Blue Tigers will face Bangladesh in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round on March 25, followed by an international friendly against the Maldives on March 19.

During the March FIFA International Window, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, Meghalaya, will host two matches with the India senior men’s national team. The Blue Tigers will face Bangladesh in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round on March 25, and will prepare with an International Friendly against the Maldives on March 19 at the JLN Stadium.
On the specified dates, both matches will begin at 7 p.m. IST.

India has been placed in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round, along with Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangladesh. Until March 2026, the teams will face each other twice in a round-robin format of home and away games. Group winners will advance to the Asian Cup event.

This is the first time the JLN stadium will hold senior men’s international matches since it was renovated last year. The 15,100-seat arena has held matches in domestic tournaments and leagues such as the Durand Cup, Indian Super League, I-League, I-League 2nd Division, and others.
