Dravid has a long history with the Royals, having served as captain for two seasons in 2012 and 2013 before returning as a mentor for two years.
Rahul Dravid, who led India to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, will take over as head coach of the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025.
Dravid, who has been on a short professional vacation since India’s victory over Barbados in June, will shortly begin working with the franchise on critical matters such as player retention ahead of the auction later this year.
