The Australian star accomplished it during a women’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 match between the Trinbago Knight Riders and the Barbados Royals.
Jess Jonassen, a cricketer for Australia and Trinbago Knight Riders, copied Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s signature posture during a match. On August 22, she achieved it at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad, during the women’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 match between the Trinbago Knight Riders and the Barbados Royals. A video of the occasion has gone viral on social media. It occurred following the third ball of the fifteenth over. Jonassen removed Aaliyah Alleyne and then performed the SRK position to celebrate her wicket.
Meanwhile, Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is expected to succeed Greg Barclay as chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), according to NDTV sources.
During a video conference, Barclay informed ICC directors, including Cricket Australia’s chairman Mike Baird, that he has no intention of seeking for the position for a third term.
His decision comes after being notified of Jay Shah’s plans to replace him in November. Shah has the support of cricket boards in England and Australia, giving him the numbers to become the ICC’s president.
The only four Indians to have led the ICC in the past have been Jagmohan Dalmiya (1997-2000), Sharad Pawar (2010-2012), N Srinivasan (2014-2015), and Shashank Manohar (2015-2020).
When Shah, the son of India’s home minister Amit Shah, takes over for Barclay in November, he will become the third person to do so.
