The southpaw injured his knee before the second day of play and complained of pain.

Matthew Renshaw was sent for X-Rays on his knee during the second day of the Nagpur Test, adding to Australia’s long list of injuries. On Day Two at VCA Stadium, the 26-year-old injured his knee during warm-ups. The visitors are already without Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood for the first Test of the series.

Matthew Renshaw, who had a disastrous return to India after being dismissed for a golden duck in the first innings, is out for the rest of the match after being taken to Nagpur for a knee assessment. The southpaw injured his knee before the start of play on the second day, necessitating an X-Ray.

Renshaw was seen leaving the field after complaining of knee pain, while Ashton Agar replaced the injured cricketer. After returning to the Test side, the Australian cricketer tested positive for Covid during Australia’s most recent series against South Africa. He did, however, keep his place in the starting lineup, keeping out the in-form Travis Head.
