In Hyderabad on Saturday, Sanju Samson’s flamboyant first-ever T20 International century punctuated India’s commanding 133-run triumph and 3-0 series sweeping over a somnolent Bangladesh. After choosing to bat, India tore down records like rotten twigs, scoring 297 for 6, and Bangladesh never really put up much of a fight, losing the third and final Twenty20 international match at 164/7. From then on, it was always a matter of the eventual margin of victory. The hosts’ bowling attack was spearheaded by leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi (3/30) and pacer Mayank Yadav (2/32).

Bangladesh responded by losing wickets on a frequent basis. Despite scoring nearly ten runs per over in the opening part of their chase, their fight gradually faded.
Bangladesh scored 164/7 in 20 overs, with Towhid Hridoy top scoring with 63 not out.
