All four of the Indian spinners spent a lot of time in the middle during their Tuesday practice. As they practised, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma were also assisted by the four players by bowling against them in a net.

But in Barbados, a little rainstorm cut short the exercise. It rained in the city on Wednesday as well, and more rain is predicted for Thursday.

In a video posted to social media earlier in the day, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) quoted Rohit Sharma as saying that his players are eager to perform exceptionally well in the competition.

“There is a strong desire among the group to go accomplish something unique. It is evident that everyone wants to make a difference, and we take skill sessions extremely seriously. Every skill session provides an opportunity to achieve something. After we finish the first game, we will play the next two in three to four days. It will be a little chaotic, but we are used to this. “We travel and play a lot, so that is not an excuse,” Rohit remarked in a video posted by the BCCI.
