India vs Australia, ODI Match 3rd , Match Report, Prediction, Pitch Report, Playing XI

After being humiliated by Australia (AUS) in the second ODI of the series in Visakhapatnam, team India (IND) will seek to make a strong comeback and win the third match on March 22 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. The Australians, in particular, will not make things easy for Rohit Sharma’s side. They completely dominated the Men in Blue in the previous match and will be desperate to win the third ODI and avenge their 2-1 loss in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which concluded recently.

It will be a difficult task for India. Michell Starc annihilated them in the prior match, and they can’t let that happen again. Thus, with quality players such as Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda, and Shreyas Iyer waiting in the wings ahead of the crucial ODI World Cup, the batters will have a great opportunity to prove themselves in the middle and secure their place in the squad. Spinners will shoulder a significant amount of duty in the third ODI.

The strategy for Australia will be very identical to the previous one. They expect that the bowlers will deliver once more, but things may not go as planned this time. The surface in Chennai does not assist the pacers, so the spinners will have to step up and demonstrate their class this time. In terms of batting, opener Mitchell Marsh is in excellent form at the present, and David Warner may eventually make his return to the playing XI.

Feedback on Pitch:

As previously mentioned, the pitch is expected to favor spinners. Bowling first is optimal on this wicket, and anything over 280 is a respectable total.
