Bangladesh will face India in the first of three one-day international (ODI) matches on Sunday, December 4th, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

This will be the two teams’ first bilateral ODI series since 2015. Due to a groyne injury, Bangladesh will be without Tamim Iqbal. The experienced Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah have returned to the team and will play an important role in the middle order.
Bangladesh lost their previous ODI series to Zimbabwe and blew hot and cold in the recently concluded T20 World Cup, but they are a force to be reckoned with this time around, and India will not take them lightly.
India
After more than five months, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Virat Kohli will play together in an ODI series. Team India appears to be well-balanced and will attack the hosts, Bangladesh, hard.
With Shami out, this series will be an excellent opportunity for some of the younger players, such as Kuldeep Sen and Umran Malik, to shine. India will begin as the favourite to win this match.
KL Rahul is also back and will bat in the middle order. Siraj has bowled brilliantly when given the chance and will most likely lead the bowling attack.
