Indian batting makes mistakes as the Windies defeat the men in blue in an ODI for the first time since December 2019.

The West Indies defeated India by six wickets in the second ODI to even the series at one game each. It was their first victory in the format against India since December 2019. Skipper Shai Hope and Keacy Carter combined for 91 runs for the fourth wicket.

The West Indies reduced India for 181 in the second ODI in Barbados on Saturday, with Gudakesh Motie taking three wickets and Romario Shepherd recording his best ODI bowling performance.

Shai Hope, the captain of the West Indies, decided to bowl first after winning the toss. While Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are resting, stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya will be in charge of the squad in this game. In the starting XI, Sanju Samson and Axar Patek will take the place of Rohit and Kohli. With the addition of Alzarri Joseph and Keacy Carty, the hosts have also undergone two changes.

IND 181 (40.5)

WI 182/4 (36.4)
