India chased down a 173-run target in 15.4 overs in Indore, thanks to Shivam Dube (63 not out off 32) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (68 off 34). The victory gave the Rohit Sharma-led team a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Virat Kohli, who hit 29 runs off 16 balls, was also instrumental in getting India off to a fast start in the chase. Afghanistan scored 172 all-out, led by Gulbadin Naib’s valiant 57-run knock off 35 balls. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets, with Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi each picking up two. Rohit Sharma, India’s captain, won the toss and chose to bowl.
