In a rain-shortened game on Sunday at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele, India defeated Sri Lanka by chasing 78 runs from eight overs thanks to cameos from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya.
Seven wickets in hand and eight balls remaining, India reached the mark. Kushal Perera earlier scored fifty runs in 20 overs to help Sri Lanka reach 161/9.
With one game left, India safely won the series 2-0. This Tuesday, at 7:00 PM IST, at the same location, is the third Twenty20 International.
