New Zealand beats team India in the first match of T20I series at JSCA stadium Ranchi. This is the first time Indian team has lost it T20 match at Ranchi.
India’s T20 captain Hardik Pandya said that they were surprised by the pitch. Michelle centre also said that everyone was Amaze by the way ball spinning in second innings of the match. Bowlers Lockie Ferguson, Michael Bracewell each of them took two wickets and put their team in lead. While batting Daryl Mitchell and Devon Conway score there 15th and made a score which is hard to beat. Washington Sundar of Indian cricket team also scored have century in the match but that goes in vein as team India lost by 21 runs. He also took two wickets for 22 runs.
Now both the teams will face each other in Lucknow for the second match of the series. Hardik Pandya in his interview after the match said that the new ball was turning more than the old ball and the way it was turning and bouncing surprised us. Team India scored 155 runs for 9 wickets and lost the match.
