Following Jasprit Bumrah’s withdrawal from the final two T20I matches against South Africa, Mohammed Siraj and senior pacer Umesh Yadav gave it their all on Saturday at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati in preparation for the second game on Sunday.
The chance that Bumrah may miss the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia gave the pace duo added motivation to work hard in the heat and muggy weather.
Siraj and Yadav, who weren’t included in the original roster for the high-profile tournament, threw punches at the nets on Friday during a free practise.
