In the second relay, Ramita scored 10.2, 10.7, 10.3, 10.1 in the second series, their effort propelling the team into the top 8. Babuta had a great start with a sequence that read 10.5, 10.6, 10.5, 10.9 in the second series.
However, they had to accomplish more than what they ultimately did in order to advance to the bronze medal round. The top three qualifiers were shooters from China, followed by Korea and Kazakhstan.
To participate in the medal matches, a team must place in the top four.
