The Indian team went undefeated into the top clash, defeating Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia.New Zealand, on the other hand, advanced to the final after only losing one game, and that was against India. The tournament’s final match, however, began with New Zealand winning the toss and going in to bat first. Rachin Ravindra and Will Young opened the batting for the side, and Young was the first to go after scoring 15 runs. Furthermore, Ravindra, who looked dangerous early in the first innings, was dismissed for 37 runs in 29 deliveries.
After the first two wickets, Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell were left to carry the load. India struck again, removing the dangerous Kane Williamson for 11 runs in 14 deliveries. After three wickets, Daryl Mitchell’s effort took New Zealand to a challenging target. Mitchell scored 63 runs off 101 deliveries.
