Injured pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was replaced by Mohammed Siraj on Friday for India’s final two T20 International games against the visiting South African team.
Due to a back stress fracture, Bumrah on Thursday declared ineligible for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
According to a statement released by the BCCI on Friday, “The All-India Senior Selection Committee named Mohd. Siraj as replacement for injured Jasprit Bumrah for the remaining T20I series against South Africa.”
