The 39-year-old also stated that franchise cricket exposure to Afghanistan players aided them significantly in their recent historic semi-final appearance in the T20 World Cup.

“It provides us a lot of experience, which we then bring to the national team and share with the younger players. Afghanistan’s T20 performance at the World Cup was excellent. We defeated large teams in the competition.”Yeah, my first appearance in the semifinals and the tough four, and it was a tremendous accomplishment in my cricket career, with hopefully more to come.
