As India Masters reached their target in 17.1 overs, Ambati Rayudu contributed with a score of 74 runs off 50 balls. Vinay Kumar and Shahbaz Nadeem took a combined total of five wickets earlier, helping the India Masters limit the WI Masters to 148 runs for 7 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Lendl Simmons (57 runs from 41 balls) and Dwayne Smith (45 runs from 35 balls) made important contributions, but Kumar (3 wickets for 26 runs) and Nadeem (2 wickets for 12 runs) helped India restrict the West Indies’ batting lineup to under 150.
